ANF Recovers 252 kg Drugs in Separate Operations

Rawalpindi: The ANF conducted seven operations nationwide, seizing 252 kg of drugs and apprehending eight individuals, as per a spokesperson from ANF Headquarters on Monday.
Notably, 470 intoxicated tablets were intercepted at a Rawalpindi courier office bound for the UK.
Additionally, significant drug seizures included 78 kg of opium and 73.2 kg of hashish in Pindi Bhattian, 56.4 kg of hashish and 15.6 kg of opium near Ring Road Peshawar, and 1.2 kg of opium and 10.8 kg of hashish from a woman near Sangjani Toll Plaza Islamabad.
Other confiscations include 7.2 kg of hashish on IJP Road Islamabad, 3.6 kg of hashish, 1.2 kg of opium, and 1.4 kg of heroin near Kala Shah Kako Motorway Toll Plaza Lahore, and 4.8 kg of hashish from a parcel destined for Islamabad at a Peshawar courier office on Ring Road.
The apprehended individuals face charges under the Anti-Narcotics Act, with ongoing investigations.
