Alizeh Shah Faces Online Backlash Over Social Media Video

Karachi: Popular television actress Alizeh Shah, known for her performances in hit dramas such as Ehd-e-Wafa, Mera Dil Mera Dushman, and Ishq Tamasha, has drawn criticism online after sharing a video with her alleged boyfriend on social media.
The short clip, posted late Friday night, shows a man — believed to be her boyfriend — feeding her, with his hand clearly visible in the frame. The video was quickly picked up by multiple Instagram pages, triggering heated debate among fans and followers.
Several users expressed disappointment, questioning the actress’s public image and choice to share such content. Comments ranged from, “She is no more innocent like Dua from Ehd-e-Wafa,” to, “Is she even Muslim?” Others called the video “nonsense” and criticised the actress for what they viewed as behaviour unbecoming of a public figure.
This is not the first time the actress has faced controversy. Earlier, she made headlines for publicly discussing a viral altercation with fellow actress Minsa Malik, and for alleging that veteran singer Shazia Manzoor pushed and dragged her during a ramp walk incident.
