AIOU to Hold KP Convocation on June 9

Islamabad: The convocation of the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Chapter will take place on June 9, 2024, in Peshawar. Governor KP, Faisal Karim Kundi, will be the chief guest at the event, which will be attended by numerous distinguished guests, including heads of educational institutes, teachers, renowned journalists, and prominent social personalities.

During the ceremony, Vice Chancellor of AIOU Dr Nasir Mahmood, alongside Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, will confer degrees and gold medals to students who graduated between Autumn 2004 and Spring 2022.

Dr Nasir Mahmood highlighted that 2024 marks the golden jubilee year of AIOU. To commemorate this significant milestone, the university has organized a series of grand celebrations, including convocation ceremonies to honor its graduates.

Earlier, the Islamabad chapter’s convocation was held on January 31, 2024, and the Lahore chapter’s on April 28, 2024. The upcoming convocation is exclusively for registered students from the KP province.
