Admission Deadline Firm: AIOU Director Admission Signals No Further Extension

Islamabad: No extension will be made in the admission deadlines for the programmes offered in the second phase of the Autumn 2023 semester at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), said the director  admissions on Sunday.

The deadline for admissions to the programmes offered in the second phase of the Autumn 2023 semester was today (Monday).

According to Director Admissions, this is the final date and will not be extended further. Dr Nasir has expressed the hope that prospective students will take advantage of this opportunity to enrol.

The last date for admission was originally set for November 7, but some students missed the deadline. They were given an extension until November 20 to apply. Dr Nasir explained that the academic calendar prevents the date from being extended any further due to the semester system.

Admission forms and prospectuses for Associate degrees in Arts (BA General), Associate degrees in Commerce (B.Com. ), Associate degrees in Education, BS (ODL) programmes, B.Ed. programmes, BBA, postgraduate diplomas, and certificate courses are available on the university website.
