Aabeer Gulaal Releases August 29, Faces Param Sundari Clash

Islamabad: Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor’s much-anticipated romantic drama Aabeer Gulaal, formerly titled Abir Gulaal, is now scheduled for a global theatrical release on 29 August.

The film’s original release, planned for May, was postponed following the tragic Pahalgam terror attack. In response to the incident, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), a major film industry union, called for a boycott of the film, resulting in the delay.

Aabeer Gulaal will now hit cinemas alongside Param Sundari, which also stars Vaani Kapoor alongside Sidharth Malhotra, setting up a box office clash at the end of the month.
