A Treat for the Eyes

Phandar Lake is situated in the Ghazar Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan. Phandar is a word in the local language, Sheena, which means spread and stagnant water. This is why the valley is named Phandar Valley.

The trip to the valley is not only a treat to the eyes but also a healing for the mind, as the valley offers much to relax.

A Treat for the Eyes

Phandar Valley, with its charming scenery, brings serenity to the depths of the heart and soul. Although the Ghazar Valley is famous for its streams, lakes, and rivers, all this beauty is flowing in the Silk River and scenery.

A Treat for the Eyes

Phandar is one of the most spectacular valleys in G-B. It is only 88 kilometres away from Gahkoch. Like beauty of the lake, the hearts of local people are also beautiful as local people are hospitable and instead of charging hefty for the visitors to stay they offer them free-of-cost stay.
