A Gesture of Gratitude: ICT Police Leadership Joins Officers for Iftar

Islamabad: In a gesture of solidarity and appreciation, Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi joined police officers and personnel for a special Iftar at Police Lines Headquarters on Thursday.
The gathering, organized by the Islamabad Capital Police, aimed to acknowledge the dedication of law enforcement officers who continue to serve the city during Ramadan. Senior police officials were also present, engaging with personnel and recognizing their contributions to maintaining security.
For the first time, the Islamabad Police have arranged Iftar meals for their entire force throughout Ramadan, following special instructions from IGP Rizvi. Additionally, senior officers are joining police personnel on duty at various locations to share Iftar with them, reinforcing a sense of unity within the force.
Speaking at the event, IGP Rizvi expressed his deep appreciation for the officers’ sacrifices, stating, “Our police personnel work tirelessly, away from their families, to ensure the safety of the citizens. Their commitment deserves recognition, and I consider their well-being my top priority.”
The initiative reflects the leadership’s effort to boost morale and foster a stronger bond between officers and their commanders, reinforcing a culture of support within the police force.
