More Monsoon Rains Predicted In KP Districts: Met Office

Peshawar/Bahawalpur: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts that more rain is likely to continue intermittently in all districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) till July 18. Meanwhile, the local Met Office has forecast dry to partly cloudy weather for Bahawalpur for the next 24 hours.

The minimum temperature recorded in Peshawar city is 24°C and there are chances of heavy rains in upper areas of KP, PMD official stated.

During the last 20 hours, the highest rainfall of 31 mm was recorded in Buner, 30 in Malam Jabba, 29 in Bajaur, 16 in Saidu Sharif, 21 in Abbottabad, and 2 mm in Peshawar.

Partly cloudy weather for Bahawalpur

Dry to partly cloudy weather is predicted for the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature 39°C and the lowest minimum 31°C were recorded during the last 24 hours.
