Glacier Cleared, Naran-Kaghan Road Reopened For Tourists

News Desk

Peshawar: The district administration and Kaghan Development Authority have removed the glacier on the Naran-Kaghan road, and it is now open to tourists.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) Spokesman said on Tuesday that the glacier has been removed from Chatha Katha and Goraya Chanch areas.

He stated that the road has been opened to all types of traffic and that tourists are welcome to visit these locations, but he recommended that they take all necessary safety precautions before going, including carrying enough fuel, snacks, a first aid kit, and water.

The spokesperson informed tourists that they can dial the Tourist Facilitate helpline at 1422 for any information or emergency situation. The authority urged the tourists to keep their environment clean and carry disposable bags so they can dispose of trash in the trash cans rather than leaving it lying around.
