Kajol’s Bitter, Mysterious Post

News Desk

Actress Kajol recently shared a cryptic message on her Instagram Stories emphasising the need to avoid falling victim to gender stereotypes. The actor, who is typically recognised for having a friendly and confident demeanour in public, seemed to be responding to some doubters by calling out their inherent cowardice.

She posted a picture of knitting equipment and said that both genders have their fair share of cowards and disagreeable people. The idea is to evaluate each person for what they are worth rather than judging them purely on the basis of their gender.

She cited Rumi in another post when she said that goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes, while those who love with their hearts and souls don’t experience separation.

This comes shortly after Kajol marked 30 years in the entertainment industry and dropped a video montage that featured stills from some of her most notable projects to date.

When Kajol reached 14 million Instagram followers, she also posted a selfie with the comment, “Happy Sunday you awesome 14 million people. Good luck. Be joyful and eat loads!”

Kajol, daughter of veteran actress Tanuja, made her Bollywood debut with ‘Bekhudi’, which was released on July 31, 1992, and since then she has been enthralling the audience with her versatile acting.

She has givenloads of memorable characters over the years. However, it was her character Simran from ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ that helped her gain worldwide recognition.

Kajol will soon be seen in the Indian adaptation of the American legal drama series ‘The Good Wife’. The original drama starred Julianna Margulies in the lead role. The show has seven seasons and concluded in 2016.
