Celebrities wish a Happy Pakistan Resolution Day

Pakistan commemorates the historic Lahore Resolution of 1940, also known as the Pakistan Resolution on 23rd March, which eventually led to the creation of Pakistan.

Celebrating the national holiday, many celebrities took to their social media handles with high hopes and wishes for the nation’s prosperity.

Taking to Instagram, Shaniera Akram shared a picture with her husband and cricketer Wasim Akram and wished her Pakistani followers in Pakistan and Australia, and around the world, a very happy Pakistan Day.

Shaniera made a heart between the two flags in the picture and wrote, “Happy Pakistan Day to all the Pakistanis in and around the world, adding that, Wasim and I are sending all our love from Australia.

And to all the incredible Australian Pakistanis who live, work and bring so much vibrance, love and culture to Australia, thank you!” She concluded the post with the hashtag #WeWillBeBackSoon referring to their return to Pakistan again.

Ahmed Ali Butt Instagram

Actor Ahmed Ali Butt shared an edited picture of him saluting with Pakistan’s flag in the background on Instagram. The picture reads, “Pakistan Day, 23rd March.” He captioned the post, “Pakistan Zindabad (Long live Pakistan)”

The social activist also wished all the people “who indulge in our [Pakistani] food, fashion or culture–A happy Pakistan Day” on Twitter.

Legendary singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan also shared his wishes on the day. He took to the micro-blogging site and shared an edited greetings image where Quaid-e-Azam is seen standing in front of the Minar-e-Pakistan. The image contained a wish for his followers and was signed with his name.

Actor Neelam Muneer Khan shared Quaid’s quote on Instagram that read, “There’s no power on Earth that can undo Pakistan.” She wished a “happy Pakistan Resolution Day to all” in the caption.

Designer-turned-actor Hassan Sheheryar Yasin took to Instagram and shared a clip where the Ishrat Made in China actor can be seen on stage with Junaid Khan, Adnan Siddiqui and Humayun Saeed reciting the national anthem at the launch of Saeed and Siddiqui’s joint brand, Cast & Crew launches last night. He wrote that he’s “proud to be a Pakistani, today and every day.”
