Dry Weather To Persist Most Parts Of Country, Sindh: PMD

Islamabad/Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted mainly dry weather to prevail in most parts of the country and majority of the Sindh province over the next 24 hours.

However, isolated places in north Balochistan, south Punjab, upper Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir are predicted to experience light rain, wind, and thunderstorms. The western and upper parts of the country are being affected by a shallow westerly wave, as per the synoptic situation.

For the past 24 hours, the weather remained dry over most parts of the country. Upper KP, Kashmir, GB, Balochistan, and Jacobabad all experienced rain-wind-thunderstorms.

PMD stated that snowfall is recorded in Babusar, Astore, Kalam and Bagrote during the period.

The lowest minimum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours are Leh -05°C, Kalam -03, Gupis and Hunza 00°C.
