Islamabad: Seven terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Hindustan were killed in two separate operations carried out in Balochistan on Monday, according to the military’s media wing.

In a press release issued Tuesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted in the Mach area of Kachhi district following reports of Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists in the region.

“During the operation, our forces engaged the terrorists’ position effectively, and after a fierce exchange of fire, five Indian-backed terrorists were eliminated,” the ISPR said.

In a separate IBO conducted in the Margand area of Kalat district, security forces raided a Fitna al-Hindustan hideout and neutralized two terrorists.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the deceased militants, who had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities, the statement added.

The ISPR reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating Indian-sponsored terrorism and vowed to bring those responsible, along with their facilitators, to justice.

The government has accused Indian-backed Fitna al-Hindustan militants of carrying out multiple terrorist attacks in Balochistan on behalf of India.

Relations between the nuclear-armed neighbors worsened after a recent attack in Khuzdar, where a powerful blast near Zero Point targeted a school bus, killing five people including three students and injuring many others. This attack drew widespread condemnation nationally and internationally.

On May 23, Interior Secretary Captain (retd) Khurram Muhammad Agha warned that Pakistan’s response to the Fitna al-Hindustan attack in Khuzdar would be decisive and that the perpetrators would not achieve their goals.
