Islamabad: Two people lost their lives and five others sustained injuries in a severe collision between two cars early Sunday morning in Chubara Ada, a locality within the Hafizabad district.

According to police sources, the accident occurred when one of the vehicles lost control due to overspeeding and collided head-on with an oncoming car. The impact resulted in the immediate death of two individuals.

Rescue teams and local police rushed to the scene shortly after the incident. The injured were promptly shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, while the bodies of the deceased were taken into custody for necessary legal procedures.
