Weather Alert: Heavy Rain,Thunderstorms Expected Across Pakistan

Islamabad: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) issued a weather advisory on Thursday, warning of unpredictable weather conditions affecting various parts of Pakistan from today through May 5.

The advisory forecasts heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds in several regions, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, northeast Punjab, and northeast Balochistan. Some areas of Sindh are also expected to experience rainfall and gusty winds.

The NDMA has urged residents to take precautionary measures, emphasizing the need for preparedness. Local administrations and concerned departments have been instructed to stay alert and ensure readiness to address any emergency situations resulting from the severe weather conditions.
