Saudi Arabia Warns of Growing Border Clashes Between Pak, India

Islamabad: Saudi Arabia has expressed concern over the escalating tensions between Pakistan and India following the Pahalgam attack.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Saudi Foreign Ministry voiced alarm at the ongoing border clashes between the two South Asian nations. “The continuous incidents of firing along the border are a matter of concern,” the statement read.
The ministry called on both India and Pakistan to de-escalate the situation and resolve their differences through diplomatic means. It further emphasized the importance of both countries working towards regional peace and stability, in line with the principles of good neighbourliness.
Additionally, the statement urged both nations to take actions that would benefit not only India and Pakistan but also the broader region and its citizens.
