Dedicated squads have been formed to monitor and enforce regulations across key sectors such as industry, water, plastic, agriculture, transport, and fuel.

“The Smart Environment Force is committed to ensuring prompt responses, effective implementation, and continuous improvement in Punjab’s air quality,” CM Maryam Nawaz stated.

She congratulated the Minister for Environment, the Secretary of the Environment Protection Department (EPD), the Director General of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and their respective teams for turning her vision into reality.

The Chief Minister also stressed the importance of institutional reforms, stakeholder collaboration, and active citizen participation in achieving long-term environmental sustainability. “Let us all pledge to protect our environment and play our part in mitigating the hazards of pollution through sustainable, lasting solutions,” she urged.
