Clash Over Second Marriage Leaves Multiple Women Injured

Muzaffargarh: A violent altercation broke out in the Rohilanwali area following a domestic dispute related to a second marriage, resulting in several women being injured and sparking concerns about law enforcement’s response.

The incident gained widespread attention after a video of the attack went viral on social media.

According to local sources, the conflict began when Arshad, a resident of Rohilanwali, remarried after separating from his first wife, Bushra. In retaliation, Bushra’s brothers, reportedly accompanied by dozens of others, launched a physical assault on Arshad’s family.

The attackers, armed with sticks, clubs, and bricks, targeted members of Arshad’s household, causing injuries to several women. The viral video shows assailants storming the premises and violently beating the women.

Following the incident, local police registered a case and have initiated an investigation into the matter.

Authorities have expressed concern over the violent nature of the attack and the disturbing viral footage, which has raised questions about public safety and law enforcement’s ability to handle such domestic disputes.
