Islamabad: Sheheryar Munawar, the renowned actor and producer, recently shared a heartwarming and cinematic tale of how he knew Maheen Siddiqui was “the one” he wanted to spend his life with.
Speaking on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast Excuse Me, Sheheryar opened up about the serendipitous way they crossed paths and how their connection blossomed into something truly special.
The story began a few years ago at a social gathering hosted by popular director Asim Raza. Initially, the two didn’t expect much beyond a casual interaction, but as fate would have it, their initial meeting soon blossomed into a genuine friendship.
Over time, their bond deepened, but it wasn’t until a significant moment that Sheheryar realized Maheen was the one for him.
That moment came on a seemingly ordinary Sunday morning. What was supposed to be a short coffee meetup turned into a marathon conversation that lasted seven to eight hours.
Sheheryar recalled that they were so engrossed in each other’s company that they lost track of time, and it was in those hours of effortless chatter that he realized a deep, unspoken connection with Maheen—something that felt straight out of a romantic film.
Reflecting on that day, Sheheryar said, “It was one of those moments when you just know, and everything else around you fades away.”
That day was a pivotal moment in their relationship, and within a month, Sheheryar took the significant step of introducing Maheen to his family.
A few months later, the couple tied the knot in a joyous and memorable wedding celebration, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their shared journey.
