President, PM Condole Death of COAS’s Mother

Islamabad: The mother of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir passed away.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed their deep sorrow and condolences over the loss of COAS General Asim Munir’s mother. They prayed to Almighty Allah to grant her eternal peace and provide strength to the grieving family during this difficult time.

“We share the grief of General Syed Asim Munir over the passing of his mother. My heartfelt condolences are with the family in this challenging moment,” said the president.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi, and Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider also conveyed their condolences over the sudden death of the COAS’s mother.

Senate Chairman Yousuf Raza Gilani expressed his sorrow upon learning of the tragic event, praying for the departed soul and offering sympathy to General Asim Munir and his family, hoping they find the strength to cope with the loss.

National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq also extended his condolences, praying for the soul of the departed. He emphasized that parents are a divine blessing, and their loss is an irreplaceable and heartbreaking tragedy.
