HBL PSL X Schedule Announced: 34 Thrilling Matches Across Four Cities

Islamabad: The highly anticipated 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) will commence on Friday, April 11, with defending champions Islamabad United taking on two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The six-team tournament will feature 34 matches from April 11 to May 18, with Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium hosting 13 games, including two Eliminators and the final. An exhibition match is also scheduled for April 8 in Peshawar, with team details to be confirmed later.

Match Venues and Key Fixtures

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium: Will host 11 matches, including the Qualifier on May 13.

Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore: Set to host 13 matches, including two Eliminators (May 14 & 16) and the grand final (May 18).

National Bank Stadium, Karachi: Will witness five games, including Karachi Kings’ first match on April 12 against Multan Sultans.

Multan Cricket Stadium: Will also stage five matches, with the first on April 22 featuring Multan Sultans against Lahore Qalandars.

Key Team Fixtures

Karachi Kings, winners of the fifth edition, will kick off their campaign at home on April 12 against last season’s runners-up, Multan Sultans.

Multan Sultans, champions of the sixth edition, will host their first match on April 22 against Lahore Qalandars.

Lahore Qalandars, winners of the seventh and eighth editions, will play their first home game on April 24 against Peshawar Zalmi.

Peshawar Zalmi, the 2017 champions, will play five matches at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Quetta Gladiators, winners of the fourth edition, will have five matches at Gaddafi Stadium.

HBL PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer expressed excitement over the milestone 10th edition, stating:“We are thrilled to announce the schedule for the historic 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League.

Over the past decade, the HBL PSL has grown into a globally recognized tournament, showcasing the best of Pakistan’s cricketing talent. This season will feature high-profile international cricketers and 34 thrilling contests across Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi.”

He also emphasized the significance of hosting an exhibition match in Peshawar:“As part of our commitment to expanding the reach of the HBL PSL, we are delighted to bring top-tier cricket to Peshawar, a city with a deep-rooted love for the game.”
