Rain Forecast for Bahawalpur, Dry Conditions in Sindh

Islamabad: The local Met Office has forecast winter rain for Bahawalpur and its adjoining areas within the next 24 hours. Cloudy weather prevailed in the city on Tuesday afternoon, and rainfall is also expected in the Cholistan desert.

The Agriculture Department has termed the expected rainfall a blessing for standing crops, particularly maize, which may result in a bumper yield. Meanwhile, Bahawalpur recorded a maximum temperature of 27°C and a minimum of 17°C over the past 24 hours.

Rain Brings Pleasant Weather to Sargodha

Light to moderate rain, accompanied by winds, turned the weather chilly in Sargodha on Tuesday morning. The Met Office has predicted more rainfall in the coming hours.

The city’s maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 18°C and 14°C, respectively. Agriculture experts welcomed the rain, saying it would benefit wheat crops. Health experts also noted that the spell could help eliminate seasonal diseases.

Sindh to Experience Dry Weather

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted dry weather in most parts of Sindh for the next 24 hours, with partly cloudy conditions in upper districts.
