Peshawar: In a rare and extraordinary event, a woman from Shago, Dir Lower, has given birth to quintuplets—two boys and three girls—at Timergara Teaching Hospital, bringing joy and amazement to her family and the medical community alike.

Dr Abbas, Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS) of the hospital, confirmed that both the mother and all five newborns are in perfect health, calling it a “remarkable medical milestone.”

The newborns’ father, Siraj Khan, was overwhelmed with gratitude, calling the birth of his five children at once a “divine blessing beyond imagination.”

Multiple births of this scale are incredibly rare, making this case an extraordinary moment in local medical history. Coincidentally, just last month, a woman in Bannu also delivered quintuplets, marking an unusual occurrence of back-to-back multiple births in the region.

As the family embraces their fivefold joy, doctors and community members continue to marvel at the sheer wonder of this miraculous birth.
