Flight Disruptions Hit Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport

Karachi: Flight operations at Jinnah International Airport faced disruptions once again on Tuesday, as multiple flights to domestic and international destinations were cancelled due to technical and operational reasons, a private media channel reported.

Several airlines were affected by the cancellations, including SereneAir, AirSial, Emirates, and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

SereneAir cancelled its Karachi to Lahore flights ER-522 and ER-524, along with its Islamabad-bound flight ER-502.

AirSial also cancelled its Lahore-bound flight PF-145 from Karachi.

Emirates flight EK-609, scheduled for Dubai, was cancelled.

PIA cancelled two domestic flights—PK-330 (Karachi to Multan) and PK-310 (Karachi to Quetta)—along with its Karachi to Riyadh flight F3-662.

The repeated disruptions have caused inconvenience for passengers, with authorities yet to provide an official statement on the root cause of the cancellations or when normal operations will resume.
