Islamabad: Elevate your pasta night with a fun and tasty Spaghetti Bread Boat! This recipe transforms classic spaghetti into a delightful handheld meal.
Ingredients for the Filling:
- 3 tbsp oil
- 500g chicken mince
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 cup tomato paste
- 2 tbsp chili sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp red chili flakes
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soy sauce
Ingredients for Assembling:
- French Bread
- Prepared spaghetti filling (from above)
- Cheddar Cheese
- Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add the chicken mince and cook until it changes color.
- Add the chopped onion, ginger, and garlic paste. Cook for one minute.
- Stir in the tomato paste, chili sauce, black pepper powder, red chili flakes, red chili powder, salt, and soy sauce. Mix well and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan and mix thoroughly with the sauce.
- Cut a pocket lengthwise into the French bread, removing some of the interior to create space for the filling.
- Fill the bread pocket with the spaghetti mixture.
- Top generously with cheddar cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve your delicious Spaghetti Boat!
