Rawalpindi: The CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025, an initiative led by the Maryam Nawaz-led Punjab government, aims to promote digital literacy and empower students by providing them with the latest technological tools.
Under the scheme, 100,000 laptops will be distributed to deserving students across Punjab, ranging from matriculation to postgraduate levels.
Latest Devices to be Distributed
The Punjab government will distribute high-performance laptops featuring 13th-generation Core i7 processors to deserving students. These laptops are designed to support academic and research activities.
Additionally, 2,000 laptops will be allocated to minority students, with a focus on those excelling in secondary and higher secondary school examinations. South Punjab will receive 32% of the total laptops.
Laptop Allocation Breakdown:
20,000 laptops for university students
14,000 laptops for college students
4,000 laptops for technical and agricultural students
2,000 laptops for medical and dental college students
The laptops will be distributed to students in fields such as computer science, medicine, engineering, social sciences, business, agriculture, and more.
How to Register for the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme?
Unlike previous years, the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 will not have an online registration platform. Instead, educational institutions will collect data on eligible students based on their academic performance.
The final list of selected students will be validated by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Punjab. Laptop distribution is expected to begin after Ramadan 2025.
