Woman Killed Over Marriage Dispute

Daska: Unidentified armed assailants shot and killed a mother of five children in Daska over a dispute related to her second marriage, according to a report by a private news channel on Tuesday.

According to the details, two unidentified gunmen broke into Ishrat’s home in Mohallah Younusabad, within the jurisdiction of Saddar police station, and opened fire on her.

Sources revealed that the victim had divorced her husband two years prior and later remarried a man of her choice, identified as Samiullah. This was also Samiullah’s second marriage.

Upon receiving the murder report, a police team quickly arrived at the scene and transported the body to the hospital. The gunmen fled the scene immediately after the attack.

The Saddar police have registered a murder case against the two suspects and initiated an investigation into the incident.
