Rescue Teams on High Alert in Galiyat as Tourists Flock for Snowfall

Nathiagali: Rescue personnel have been placed on high alert in Galiyat, including Changla Gali, Ayubia, and Nathiagali, as a large number of tourists from across Pakistan arrive to experience the snowfall.
District Emergency Officer Muhammad Arif Khattak visited Nathiagali on Sunday to assess the preparedness of rescue teams and emergency response units.
During his visit, he inspected key locations, evaluated the readiness of ambulances and emergency vehicles, and ensured the availability of essential medical equipment and medicines.
Emphasizing the importance of vigilance, Khattak instructed all personnel to remain fully prepared to respond swiftly to any emergency amid the surge in tourist activity.
He reaffirmed Rescue 1122’s commitment to public safety and smooth facilitation of visitors in the snow-covered region.
