Ingredients for the Brownie Batter:
- Water (for boiling, as required)
- 200 g Butter
- 200 g Dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup Caster sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp Cocoa powder
Ingredients for the Cream Cheese Mixture:
- 1 ½ cups Cream cheese
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp All-purpose flour
Instructions:
- Begin by boiling water in a pan. Place a glass bowl over the pan, and add dark chocolate and butter to the bowl. Let them melt gently from the steam.
- Once melted, mix in the caster sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla essence, flour, and cocoa powder. Beat the mixture thoroughly and set it aside.
- For the cream cheese layer, combine cream cheese, egg, sugar, and flour in a bowl. Beat well and set aside.
- In a cake pan, layer the brownie batter, followed by the cream cheese mixture, and then add another layer of brownie batter on top.
