Samsung’s Foldable Phones Set For 2025 Evolution
News Desk
Islamabad: Samsung’s dominance in the smartphone market continues, particularly with its foldable devices, which continue to impress consumers. As we look to 2025, new developments regarding the company’s next-generation foldables are emerging.
Recent analysis of the beta code for One UI 7 (Samsung’s Android 15 skin) has revealed two new model numbers: the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. These devices are likely to be part of Samsung’s foldable evolution.
Additionally, a successor to the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is expected. Unlike its predecessor, which was limited to South Korea, this new version is likely to have a broader global release.
The Z Fold Special Edition was lauded for its lighter, thinner design, improved cameras, and larger screens compared to the Z Fold 6. Expectations are high for the next iteration, with consumers eager to see how these features will evolve.
While the specifics about these devices are still vague, it’s evident that Samsung is committed to advancing its foldable technology. There are also rumors suggesting that Samsung may introduce a tri-fold phone to rival Huawei’s Mate XT, adding further excitement for 2025.
Meanwhile, attention is turning to the upcoming Galaxy S25 series, which could feature a new Galaxy S25 Slim edition. This highlights that Samsung’s 2025 lineup is shaping up to be a significant one, packed with innovations across both foldables and traditional smartphones.
On the AI front, Samsung made a major move in August 2024 by integrating advanced AI technology into several models in its Galaxy A-series. The AI suite, including the popular “Circle To Search” feature, will now be available on devices like the Galaxy A55, A54, A35, and A34, as well as the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+.
This follows earlier reports showing that mid-range A-series phones lacked AI integration, even after receiving updates to One UI 6.1. However, it’s been confirmed that lower-end Galaxy devices won’t support this AI technology due to hardware limitations.
Overall, 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Samsung, with significant advancements in foldable devices and AI integration, further solidifying its position as a leading tech innovator.
