Arab Parliament Speaker Commends Saudi Arabia’s Bid to Host 2034 FIFA World Cup

Cairo: The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, has lauded Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup, describing it as receiving the highest evaluation in the tournament’s history.

Al Yamahi hailed this development as a milestone for the Arab world, underscoring his confidence in the Kingdom’s ability to organize the global event with excellence and distinction, reflecting positively on all Arabs.

In a statement issued Monday, he highlighted that this achievement further enhances Saudi Arabia’s growing record of accomplishments in various sectors, including sports.

Al Yamahi attributed the success to the steadfast support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, also the Prime Minister.

He noted that the bid aligns with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030, aimed at transforming the Kingdom into a global hub for innovation and development.

The Speaker emphasized that hosting the 2034 FIFA World Cup would solidify Saudi Arabia’s position as a leader in organizing major international events.
