Addressing a press conference on the launch of “The New Inventory of 13,032 Glaciers in Pakistan: The Glaciers and Students’ Project,” Alam expressed her gratitude to the Italian government for its ongoing support in advancing climate research, particularly in the vulnerable Gilgit-Baltistan region.

The project, a collaboration between Pakistan and Italy, aims to enhance our understanding of the nation’s glaciers, which are crucial for water resources and environmental stability.
