Man Allegedly Shot Dead by Wife and In-Laws

Burewala: A man was allegedly shot dead by his wife and in-laws during a domestic dispute within the Model Town police jurisdiction.

Police sources reported that Muhammad Hassan of Chak 172/WB in district Vehari filed a complaint stating that his brother, Farman Ali, had been married to Zeenat Parveen, daughter of Mehr Din, for nine years. The couple had two children.

Recently, Zeenat had left her husband due to misunderstandings and sought a divorce through the court.

According to the complaint, Zeenat’s family invited them to their home for reconciliation. However, upon arrival, they allegedly shot Farman Ali dead and fled the scene.

Police have registered a case against four individuals, including Zeenat Parveen and her relatives Javed, Mudasir, and Barkat.
