Harris to Face Voters’ Queries in Crucial Pennsylvania

Washington: Vice President Kamala Harris is set to engage with voters at a live forum in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, a key battleground state in the closely contested White House race against former President Donald Trump.

As the campaign intensifies in the lead-up to the November 5 election, both candidates are vying for undecided voters.

Harris will participate in a CNN town hall meeting near Philadelphia, while Trump, despite being offered a separate forum by the news channel, does not have a town hall scheduled.

Pennsylvania is a pivotal state, with more than 240 million Americans expected to vote this election cycle.

Both Harris and Trump have been making frequent appearances in swing states to rally support. Trump is set to hold his own town hall event in Georgia, a state he narrowly lost in 2020 but won in 2016.

At a rally in North Carolina on Tuesday, Trump criticized Harris, labeling her as “stupid” and questioning her capabilities to lead the country.

Meanwhile, Harris, 60, emphasized on Tuesday that America is “absolutely” ready to elect its first woman president, suggesting that voters are fatigued by Trump’s self-centered approach.

As of now, around 18 million Americans have already cast their ballots by mail or in person, representing over 10 percent of the total votes in 2020. The stakes are high as both candidates strive to secure vital support in the final stretch of the campaign.
