Islamabad: The Punjab government announced on Friday its decision to leverage artificial intelligence for price control within the province.

According to officials, a forecast bulletin will be utilized to stabilize market rates, with plans to establish an agricultural monitoring fund for this purpose.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz chaired a meeting to discuss the formation of this new institution, directing that it be fully operational within six months.

Additionally, the meeting emphasized the need to reduce dependence on palm oil by promoting the cultivation of sunflowers, soybeans, and canola.
