Fiery Harris Vows Break from Biden in Testy Fox Interview

Washington: A combative Kamala Harris pledged a clean break from Joe Biden’s presidency Wednesday during a tense interview with right-wing Fox News, aimed at reaching Republican voters skeptical of Donald Trump.

Harris clashed with interviewer Bret Baier on several hot-button issues, including immigration and gender transition surgery. Throughout the half-hour sit-down, Harris frequently had to ask, “May I finish,” as Baier interrupted her responses.

A key moment came when Harris was pressed on comments she made last week that Republicans have seized upon, in which she stated she couldn’t think of anything she would have done differently from Biden during his four years in office.

“My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency,” said Harris, 59, who became the Democratic nominee after Biden, citing his age, dropped out of the race in July.
