Clash at QAU Boy’s Hostel Leaves Over 26 Students Injured

Islamabad: A violent clash between rival student groups at Quaid-e-Azam University’s (QAU) boys hostel resulted in injuries to more than 26 students late Thursday night, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police reports, the confrontation led to several students sustaining injuries, with one student in critical condition. During the altercation, one group set a hostel room on fire, and various items in the hostel were damaged.

Emergency rescue teams responded to extinguish the fire, while police were deployed to restore order. In light of the unrest and citing security concerns related to the upcoming SCO summit, the university administration has ordered all students to vacate the hostels for the next ten days.
