IGP Takes Notice of Killing of Two Persons

Lahore: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar, has taken notice of the killing of two individuals in Mandi Bahauddin, allegedly due to an old enmity, and has requested a report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Gujranwala regarding the incident.

In response to the tragic event, Dr Anwar directed the District Police Officer (DPO) of Mandi Bahauddin to form a special team for the swift arrest of the culprits. He emphasized the need for prompt action to apprehend those responsible and assured that strict punishments would be meted out to the accused.

Furthermore, Dr Anwar stressed the importance of ensuring justice for the victims’ families as a top priority. According to a spokesperson for the Punjab Police, the suspects opened fire near Chot Dheer Road, resulting in the deaths of two citizens identified as Taimoor and Imran.
