Multan Heat Makes Bowling Challenging, Says Brydon Carse

Multan: England fast bowler Brydon Carse described the conditions as challenging for England’s bowling attack during the Multan Test.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday evening, Carse emphasized the difficulty the bowlers faced, particularly in the opening innings due to the intense heat. He acknowledged that the conditions were tough, but praised his team’s efforts, highlighting their strong performance in every session.

Carse expressed disappointment over captain Ollie Pope’s early dismissal, noting that it was unfortunate to lose him so soon after coming to the crease. “It was unfortunate to lose Ollie Pope early,” Carse remarked.

Despite the setback, he commended Pakistan’s strength as a team, while asserting England’s confidence in their ability to compete effectively.

Reflecting on his own performance, Carse said, “I was thoroughly enjoying my game, and I hope the ball starts reversing as the game progresses.” His positive outlook and confidence signal England’s determination to bounce back in the remaining days of the Test.

Carse’s remarks underscore England’s resolve to challenge a formidable Pakistan side, despite the difficult conditions faced by the bowlers.
