Rickshaw Drivers Urged to Obtain Licenses in Pindi

Rawalpindi: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi, Beenish Fatima, has announced that the ongoing special drive to issue learner’s permits and driving licenses to rickshaw drivers is continuing at Shehbaz Sharif Park.

Separate counters have been established at all licensing centers to facilitate rickshaw drivers.

According to a City Traffic Police (CTP) spokesman, tests for both learner and regular licenses are being conducted at Shehbaz Sharif Park on Rawal Road.

CTO Beenish Fatima stated that circle in-charges have been instructed to encourage rickshaw drivers to visit the nearest licensing centers. The initiative aims to bring more rickshaw drivers under the legal framework, ensuring safer journeys for passengers.
