Gold Prices Hit All-Time High

Lahore: Gold prices surged to record-breaking levels in both global and domestic markets on Friday, driven by strong demand and market fluctuations.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold soared by $35, reaching a historic high of $2,612 per ounce.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), domestic gold prices also hit unprecedented levels.

The price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 3,500, setting a new record of Rs 272,000 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 3,001, reaching Rs 233,196.

Despite the significant rise in gold prices, silver remained stable. The price of silver per tola stayed unchanged at Rs 2,950, and per 10 grams at Rs 2,529.14.

The ongoing surge in gold prices highlights continued investor interest amid economic uncertainty.
