Gold Rates Increase by Rs.3,500 per Tola

Islamabad: The price of 24 karat gold rose by Rs.3,500, reaching Rs.272,000 per tola on Friday, compared to Rs.268,500 on the previous trading day.

The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also saw an increase of Rs.3,001, climbing to Rs.233,196 from Rs.230,195.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold rose to Rs.213,763, up from Rs.211,012, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

In contrast, the prices of silver remained unchanged, with per tola silver priced at Rs.2,950 and 10 grams at Rs.2,529.14.

Additionally, gold prices in the international market increased by $35, reaching $2,612 from $2,577, the Association reported.
