Punjab All Set for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Celebrations

Islamabad: Punjab Industries and Commerce Minister Chaudhry Shafay Hussain has assured that the provincial government is fully prepared to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with dignity and reverence.
In a statement to a private news channel on Saturday, Minister Hussain confirmed that robust security arrangements have been put in place to ensure a safe environment for the processions and celebrations. He emphasized the government’s commitment to safeguarding devotees during the event.
“The district administration is finalizing a comprehensive security plan to protect participants and maintain peace throughout the celebrations,” the minister said.
He also urged Ulema and religious scholars from all sects to contribute to maintaining law and order during the festivities, ensuring a peaceful and harmonious environment.
As part of the security measures, the district administration has set up a dedicated control room to monitor processions and gatherings closely.
Minister Shafay Hussain highlighted that, on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, he has been personally overseeing security arrangements across the province.
The provincial government remains focused on ensuring that the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations are held in a respectful and secure manner for all citizens.
