Gang Involved in Street Crimes Busted

Wah Cantt: The Taxila police claimed to have dismantled a criminal gang involved in street crimes and snatching on Thursday, arresting three members in the process.

A police team led by Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Rana Muhammad Kashif conducted a raid on the gang’s hideout, recovering both stolen property and weapons used in their criminal activities. The arrested individuals were identified as Haider, Shoaib, and the gang’s ringleader, Salik alias Sawa Lakh.

According to the police spokesman, the gang is alleged to have recently snatched Rs 0.5 million in cash from a citizen at gunpoint.
