Man Arrested for Attempted Assault on Young Girl

Lahore: Punjab police have arrested a man for allegedly attempting to assault a 13-year-old girl in the Bhati Gate area of Lahore, officials confirmed.

According to police sources, the young girl was playing near her home when the suspect lured her into his house. Her family, realizing her sudden absence, began searching for her. Shortly after, they heard her screams from a nearby residence and immediately contacted the police via the emergency helpline (15).

The incident was reported to the Virtual Women police station, which promptly responded to the call. A spokesperson for the Safe Cities Authority stated that police registered a case and arrested the suspect.

Legal proceedings are currently underway as the investigation into the matter continues.
