RCCI Election 2024: Parvez Aslam Group Close to Landslide Victory

Rawalpindi: The Mian Parvez Aslam Group is on the brink of a decisive victory in the 2024 Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) elections, having won all 10 corporate class seats unopposed.

The opposition group could not field any candidates for the corporate class seats.

There are a total of 20 seats on the RCCI executive body, divided equally between the corporate and associate classes, with 10 seats each.

While the corporate class seats have already been secured, polling for the 10 associate class seats will be held on September 11 at the chamber premises.

For the associate class, a total of 41 candidates submitted their nomination papers.

After 21 candidates withdrew their nominations, 20 candidates remained in the race for the 10 seats of the associate class. Polling for these associate class seats is scheduled for September 11.
