Punjab Govt Offers Rs 14 Per Unit Relief To Electricity Consumers

Islamabad: The Punjab government has granted a relief of PKR 14 per unit to electricity consumers using between 201 and 500 units in their August bills.

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) Board of Directors Chairman Dr Tahir Masood announced that the distribution of revised bills to IESCO customers has commenced, benefiting approximately 1,071,632 consumers.

Additionally, the due date for bill payments has been extended. Any excess amounts paid in August will be adjusted in the September bills, ensuring customers receive the intended relief.
