Women killed, Another Allegedly Harassed

Lahore: A man was detained for harassing a female guard on duty in Lahore, according to a report from the Virtual Women police station. 

The female guard reported that the suspect had been harassing her for several days, insisting on taking her out and threatening her when she refused. 

The Virtual Women police station responded promptly by dispatching police to the location. The suspect was detained based on the victim’s identification. 

After apologizing and promising not to repeat his behavior, the victim chose to forgive him. The Virtual Women Police Station operates 24/7 to ensure women’s safety. Women in emergencies can seek help by calling 15 or using the Women Safety App.

Meanwhile, a woman was killed and another injured after a tractor-trolley loaded with bricks ran over a motorcycle near Bahawalpur Road on Saturday. 

According to rescue officials, a man and a woman were riding a motorcycle when the accident occurred. The woman died on the spot, while the man sustained injuries.

Rescue teams arrived quickly and transported the injured man to the district headquarters hospital after providing first aid.
