United States: US Vice President Kamala Harris kicked off a bus tour in Georgia, marking a crucial phase in the Democratic campaign as the race against Donald Trump intensifies.

Harris, who replaced Joe Biden as the Democratic candidate five weeks ago, is focusing on energizing Black and working-class voters in the battleground state.

The campaign, which has raised over half a billion dollars and closed Trump’s lead in the polls, highlights Harris as the underdog targeting key “Sun Belt” states. Meanwhile, Trump, facing criminal charges in Georgia, is also ramping up his campaign efforts in swing states.

Harris’s strategy in Georgia is vital, given its razor-thin margin in the 2020 election.
