Burewala: A woman, Tasleem Akhtar, sustained acid burns following a dispute among close relatives at Chak 269/EB in Tehsil Burewala.

According to police sources, Tasleem alleged in an application submitted to Sadar Police Station that her brother-in-law Sameer, along with her sisters-in-law Ayesha, Kiran, and Iram, threw acid on her face, neck, and arms.

The police promptly reached the site, arrested the accused, and shifted the woman to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.
